Window sash

A home owner from Glendora, ca says:
My window sash weighs 29.6 lbs, but the sash 1850 only goes up to 20 lbs, which one should I buy? Also the metal guide is 19.6 inches (50cm), should I buy the 19inch option. Also the width of the bottom support is 1 1/8 inch, but 1 inch if the wings are not included. The imprinted number is 19 9

Thanks for writing in. This actually isn't a Series 385 or any other standard channel balance. You'll note that the wheel with the clip at the end of the cord rests in your balance's nylon shoe, rather then within the metal channel; this is a special type of balance that we can replace for you, but it will have to be a custom order. I am sending you an email with a custom link to order (2) of these balances. If you need a different amount, just let me know and I'll send you an updated link. Let us know if you have any questions.

A home owner from Glendora, ca says:
I'll take 6 of them

OK! I have sent an updated link to you for an order of (6) of these balances. Let us know if you have any other questions.

A home owner from Glendora, ca says:
I have placed the special order, however the length of the channel is 19 and 10/16th Inches. Which is a more accurate measurement . Please let me know if you need anymore information about these.

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Not to worry. We already assumed a length of 19-5/8". You see, this particular kind of custom balance always comes in X-5/8" increments. As soon as we identified the balance from your pictures, we already knew to account for the proper length.
