Window sash?

A home owner from Louisville, Kentucky says:
We are trying to sell our home built in 1999, but several of our windows are defective as identified in the pictures. The window latch is not not locking in place, so we go to shut the window it has cracked the glass or window sash. (At least I was told by the representative at Home Depot today the part that has chipped off is the window sash.) Can the sashes be replaced? Is there a different lock we should attach to the window? On the side of the window as opposed to the top where the existing lock is?

Tom from SWISCO responded:
I believe the representative from Home Depot was mistaken. The sash is the glass panel. What's broken in your picture is the glazing.

Fortunately, we sell all kinds of glazing bead. Start with our 55-080 to start out. This may be what you have, but you will need to see how the shape and size of its end profile matches up to yours. You may want to remove a small sample to get a good look at it.
