Window sash balance

Question

I have sash balances non tilting that are in the same size windows but some are labeled 28B USB and others are 28D USB I need to know which complete sash balancer I need to order

This looks like an S389-29 balance, with a stamp option of 2840. However, check the bottom nylon shoe's depth, or 'heel-to-toe' measurement. The Series 380 uses our 15-005 1" deep shoe; but if yours is 7/8" instead, you'll need balances custom built with the 15-029 7/8" deep shoe. We'd be happy to do this, but just let us know.
