Window sash balance for 20lb. Window

Question

I am looking to replace two balances as shown in the photos. The only thing stamped is 26 4 GO CALDWELL. They measure 27". What replacement would you recommend? Thanks

You've got one of two Series of balances, but I'm not sure which. Your balance is 27" with a 2640 stamp option, that's for sure, but you need to measure your bottom shoe to determine which Series you have. If your shoe measures 1" from front to back, you need an S380-27. If the shoe measures 1-3/32", as below, pick an S385-27 :
