Window sash balances

Question

Hi,

i have 5 older Andersen windows that all need replacement balances and would like to know which would correspond to the 1 balancer I took out. The window inside is about 36 inches wide by 27 inches high. The numbers I can read on the part are 11600-17 and what looks to be BF5 9#27584.

Thanks for posting. I can't quite make out the numbers in this photo, but an Andersen Sash Balance with the stamp 9#27 can be replaced with the 24-939. You might just want to check another one of the balance boxes to confirm the stamp says 9#27--if it's something else let us know.
