Window sash channel balance

Question

I want to replace the channel balances for my window that weighs approximately 25lbs.  Do I need balances that are 25lbs each or is the weight divided with two 12-13lb balances?

The stamp options available for the S795-27 are calculated assuming both balances are supporting this weight. You would not divide it between two balances. If your sash is 25 pounds, I recommend the 27D option.
