Window sash lock

Question

On Swisco's website, you sell Product Code 90-005 (window sash lock, 2-1/4"). However, when I measured the defective window sash lock, I measured 2-3/4". Am I measuring wrong? Is Product Code 90-005 the correct replacement for my broken window sash lock? I'm confused - maybe I should just be measuring the center part and not the entire lock mechanism?

Thank you for reaching out to us. The 2-1/4" measurement isn't the length for this lock. It's the distance between the two installation holes measured from center to center. You can use the image below as a reference.
