Window sash tilt latch

I need to replace 2 sets of these. Also, I need instructions for how best to remove the old ones.

Thanks for posting. Start by looking at our 26-408 Tilt Latch Pair, or our 26-266 & 26-267 Latches. Compare the dimensions to your old tilt latches to see what the best match is. For removal and replacement advice, see the video below.

The latches we have do not slide out sideways. They snap down vertically. That's why I'm having trouble removing them. See previous photos.

Thanks for getting back to us, and for clarification. You're right, our 26-408 function differently. I've never personally dealt with the but from what I understand they slide in from the top, front first, and then clip in. I don't think there's any trick to it beyond that.
