Window screen corner key

Handy Person from Pennsylvania
I'm shopping for replacement corner keys for my window screen frames. The frame has mitered corners, not square cut. The existing keys are plastic, and measure 0.174" (11/64") thick, 0.409" (13/32") wide. The frame itself is 0.3045" (39/128") thick.

I haven't found a perfect fit among your inventory. I'm looking at 95-054, but am concerned that it may be designed for a square-cut frame, not a mitered frame.

I obviously don't need to stay with plastic. In fact, I think metal would be more durable. I have the tools to make minor modifications to either plastic or metal corner keys.

Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a good replacement for this corner, either. Nothing we carry matches your dimensions. This type especially is becoming harder to get a hold of, but screen and storm frames like this in general are a dying breed. This may not be something we can supply.

I recommend contacting a local mom and pop type shop who may be familiar with homes in your are. They may have old stock lying around that you could use.

Did you ever find the part you were looking for to replace the broken corners on your screens? If so, where did you find them?
