Window screen plunger pin installation

Question

I have reviewed your youtube demo of this installion.  Does the hole for the pin not go through/interefere with the area where the screen and spline are located??

It does a little, but the interference is insignificant for the screen spline and pull pin. Normally when the pin is installed you would try to get it under the screen spline. Some installers drill through the spline, but I think it best to go under the spline for less interference.
