Window screen retaining clips

Help please. My Dad had his windows and screens cleaned and the company lost a dozen of these clips. The windows are Pella and Dad had them installed in 1978 or '79.

We don't have a pull ring in this exact shape, but you may be able to use our 70-004 as a substitute. Look it over and let me know what you think.

These look like the replacement for my windows. I have a post already installed at 2 places. Over the years of window washing and window maintenance I've lost a lot of them. Question is -- can the pull rings be installed into existing screens with screens already in. I've tried to reclip many of them. Some work others are too soft to make into the screen frame.

Can they be installed as REPLACEMENTS on existing screens. I'll need about 50 of them.

Sure, you can install pull rings into inserts that are already screened. The trick is that you have to pull up some of the spline and then roll it back in after the pull ring is in place.

Thanks for the reply. Probably why I've always had trouble re-using them. LOL !!
