Window seal removal

Quick Learner from Gloucester.
I just replace the felt and rubber strip on my first window. all of them were locked in with 3 chisel marks tapped in the felt and rubber strips to lock the old strips in place. what is a good and not too time consuming way to lift or file those back open so I can slide in the replacement material? thank you, Rodney

Hopefully I can help! What I have done in the past in a situation like this was to cut out the old weather stripping. With the old weather stripping removed, it should be easier to pry open the "pin" marks to open up the groove. Let us know if this works for you!
