Holds bottom of window into frame so we can slide up and down as well as the spring attaches to it as well

It appears you are in need of a new pivot shoe. To further review, we will need to see the original removed from the window channel where it can be measured accurately. From there, please provide written out dimensions of the width and thickness for us to compare to our selection to determine the best fit!
