Hi there- thanks so much for posting!

Based on your information and photos, it looks like you have our Series 900 spiral balance. I just want to confirm the length of the metal channel (only the metal channel). The balance length should end on an even inch. Get back to us with this information at your earliest convenience. Thanks!

The outer tube is plastic, which has broken. The measurement for spiral casing is 25 3/4", the inside metal spiral measures 26 5/8". We have other identical windows that measure 27" and have a black tip. The plastic casings have broken on most of these.

Well, most Carefree windows have an outer tube measuring 3/8" in diameter. As long as the broken outer tube is 3/8", our Series 900 should work great.

Now for length. From your dimensions, 25-3/4" spring casing and 26-5/8" spiral, go with our S900-26. This is 26" long and I think will work fine for your window. For a 21.2 lbs. sash, I recommend a green tip option.
