Need spring assembly for window - total length - about 30" and diameter about 1/2"

Thanks for reaching out to us. They don't make 1/2" spiral balances, so I recommend double checking the tube size. It should be more like 9/16", which would make this a match for either our Series 303 or Series 200, depending on the length of the internal rod. Look these two parts over and see what you think.

Thanks, Tom! I am not sure that Series 200 Spiral Balance 29" is exact, but it looks similar. Balance shoe looks exact. What are the corresponding plastic parts that will fit this balance on a window frame? Like Bottom Sash Clips? It is about 3/4" wide.

The parts that the shoe clips onto are the 17-019 (left) and 17-018 (right). Make sure to check your sash to ensure that yours are the same design and size.

Bottom Sash Clips on my window - old and looks like it is discontinued. Is sash 17-018 (and 17-019) a good substitution even as a screw hole in 17-018(019) is not in the center?

Hey there, maybe I can help. I do recognize your clip and can verify that it's no longer made, but you can use our 17-005 with the Series 200. Just make sure to confirm the tube length, as well as the length of the interior spiral rod, like Tom mentioned.

Thanks. I have ordered 17-050 - will try to use it with Series 200 29"
