Window springs and shoes

Question

I am having a little trouble with identifying this spring and shoe - the height of the window in total is about 41 inches - so I am not sure that I need something with a 40 inch travel because of the space at the top ? No stamping on the springs and the shoes I can't tell if they are part of the spring assembly (BTW - how do you get the shoe in ? )

The balance system you show is our 15-135 pivot shoe, and a bottom balance terminal clip that comes with our Series 770 tilt balance. We will need the length of the metal balance channel and the spring weight stamped on it. We included several media guides to help you on the right.
