Window stop

This part is known as a vent latch. Yours is a little old, unfortunately. I don't think they make these anymore. The only other option I can think of is our after market 26-387. This just mounts right to the frame. See the video below for a more detailed explanation of how they function. Could you perhaps use this as a replacement?
