Window tilt latch

Hello. I purchased some window tilt latches from you after measuring and selecting the closest match to our old broken ones. Unfortunately they do not fit. These will fit in the space but they have no way of staying secured into our windows. I am hoping there is a part that will work for us as we are selling our home and this is one of the items that the buyers would like fixed. Also, one of the latches that came were broken inside the package. Please help! Thank you!
