Window track "draft stopper"

Home Owner from Indianapolis, IN
During a recent wind storm I found that all my upstairs single hung windows were very drafty around the tilt lock area. After inspection I found the downstairs windows had these small parts secured just below where the tilt lock engages when the window is closed, this greatly reduced the draft. There are no part numbers or anything identifiable on the part itself. The part is ~ 1.15W" x 0.625D". The windows are Simonton Brand, I've looked at their website but cannot find much information. I've also tried to reach out to them, but haven't yet received a response.

Thank you for your patience in this matter. I'm afraid we couldn't find an exact match for this piece. The closest part we found was our 26-139, but this is meant to hold spiral  balances in place (which is why it has a big hole in it). I'm not sure if it will work in the same capacity you need. I'm sorry that we couldn't find anything better. You may want to contact a local hardware store to see if they could maybe fashion a type of weatherseal for you that can plug that drafty area.
