I'm afraid the 26-275 was not meant to work mounted on the side like you describe. That's not to say that it can't function, but I've never tried it before and I can't tell you how well it would work. We also sell the 26-387 vent latch kit. These can mount on certain window frames, depending on space available. The video below will show you how they work, so you can judge for yourself whether it would be compatible with your frame. Lastly, at the end of the day it's very possible that none of these parts will work. Marvin windows can be a little specific and in most cases you need to contact them directly for products that would be compatible with your windows. You may want to do that before you buy anything from us. |
