Window weather stripping

A home owner from Portland, ME says:

I need new weatherstripping on some older vinyl replacement windows. A few months ago I purchased what I thought was the right product: 39" Dual-durometer Weatherstrip, but it doesn't work. It's the right size but our current weatherstripping is all rubber/pliable, where the product I purchased from you is most hard plastic, and won't snap into the window channel.

Can you please help me find the right weatherstripping product for our windows? We have dozens that need new weatherstripping.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Hello, Pamela. I'm sorry to hear that our 58-164 didn't work out for you. We don't sell anything that matches your old seal, but since you said that the dimensions of the 58-164 match up, our 58-182 may be worth considering. This has the same 3/16" sized "T" slot and is made of a softer, more flexible material. Check it out and see what you think.
