Hello,
Could you please help me replace my weather stripping on the windows to my home? I'm not sure what part of the strip to measure. If I measure the plastic backing it is 3//16". Please let me know if this is correct so I can order the appropriate weather stripping.

It sounds like you need wool pile, though I'm not sure of what size you need. It would depend entirely on dimensions, which are determined by measuring the width of the backing (as you already have done) and the height of the pile itself.
You can see our full selection of wool pile sizes here. Note that wool pile sizes tend to get very specific, so if you have a pair of calipers then now is the time to use them.
