Window weatherstrip

Question

I matched part #58-164 to my window fairly easy. Can i use part # 58-171?

The peice that slips into a pre-existing groove in the sash on part 58-164 is 3/16" and 5/8" over all in height. Part 58-171 is in 100 th. measurements. Part 171 has a Foam Filled Bulb is that better than 164 vitch is hollow

If the 58-164 is what matches, then I think you should go with that. The foam filled type of bubble does not provide more of a seal than a hollow bubble. They both work equally well. Just make sure that all the dimensions match the 58-164, just in case.
