Window will not stay up in any position

Question

I took the window apart. I do not have a tip color on mine.

The balance is 25? long
diameter is 5/8?

And the spiral is 25 3/4 inches long.

What do I need to purchase to fix my window.

It sounds like you need a new balance. Since the diameter is 5/8" and the length is 25", you want our S600-25. You'll have to weigh your sash on a scale to confirm the best tip color.
