Window won't stay up

Question

This window will not stay up when raised anymore. I am not sure what parts to order to fix it. It will still open and close, and tilt, just doesn't stay up on its own. Thank you.

It sounds like you need new balances. These are spring-loaded mechanisms installed on either side of the window frame, and they're what keeps it up once you raise it.

We can help, but I need photos of the balances before we can make a recommendation. Seeing them removed would be ideal; basically we need to see as much of them as you can manage.
