Quick Learner from California

D-36-4 are most sizes of my windows. 36-3-d is one window in pics. Springs broken. What size should i get?

Will this make my windows leak being broken? I usually dont open them. But when i wash them some leak.? Thank you!

Thanks for posting. Please confirm that the metal channel of these Channel Balances are 37" long. Do not include the nylon attachments on either end of the metal channel in this measurement. If so, see either our S380-37 or S385-37. The only difference between these two Series is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. With the Series 380 the depth of this nylon shoe is 1", whereas with the Series 385 it is 1-3/32". Compare with your own and see what is best.

Once you know what balance to select, you must choose stamp options. For the balances stamped '36-4', you will need stamp options of 3640, which is for window sashes that weigh between 23 through 30 lbs. For the balances stamped 36-3, you will need a stamp option of 3630, which is for a sash that weighs between 18 through 23 lbs.

As far as your question regarding leaks, I'm a little confused. Balances don't normally have anything to do with leaks. Where is the leak coming from in the window? Let us know, and we'll see if we can advise. Thanks.
