Windows hard to close and tilt

Question

I bought a house with Viking windows installed throughout. 3 of them are hard to open and close and won't close evenly. The don't fully seat on one side. The channel balance seams to be 27" long and has 2690 aa 28 stamped on it. They appear to be in good condition. The window is almost 27lbs

I see that you were looking at the S395-27, which appears to match the end fittings of your channel balance. I would recommend confirming the exact weight of your sash and if it's 27 Ibs., you'll need 2650 strength options for your replacement balances. Thanks for posting!
