Windows off track

Question

Hello,  We're in a home with these beautiful windows, that don't function property.  Some hard to open or close, others come off track.  Windows periodically shed this hardware -- not sure where it goes.  We've been told windows are Jeld-Wen.  Any thoughts -- thanks very much!

It sounds like you need new balances. We can help, but we require full removal of the complete balance assembly so that we can get a good look at it. Once it's out, we need a clear photo of the top end, bottom end, stamp, and the knife lock shoe at the end of the cord. Please let me know if that's possible and we can work from there.
