Hi, My brother just bought a house and several windows don't stay up. It looks like the coil is still ok but not connected to the shoe for these windows. Can you tell me how to reconnect them, and if not possible what needs replaced?

Hi Michelle. It depends on the coil spring setup. The best thing to do is to remove everything so you can connect the springs to the pivot shoes. Or, if anything is damaged, you can send us clear photos and we'd be happy to help. The video below shows how to remove and replace this hardware.
