Windows will not stay open

Question

I believe I am missing the bracket that the spiral balance locks into under the sash. They are non tilting metal windows. The spiral balance matches closely to the 5/8 in 500 series with the small butterfly clip at the bottom. i tried to capture the underside where I think the bracket should go.

Are you able to remove the sash? If not, see if you can fit our 17-012 bracket underneath it. You may be able to get this to work.
