Windows will not stay up

Question

The window balances are broken, trying to figure out the ones we need. They are 33 inches long , I need 6 of them. I believe they are spiral. The tube is 31 inches and is 3/8 wide.

The 3/8" diameter S900-31 spiral balance would be a good place to start. Take a look and confirm the spiral tip matches yours. I don't see a color tip at the base of your housing tube, so you'll need to weigh the window sash as well.
