I need this part can I still get one. My windows were installed before I moved in. My house was built in 1974.

It sounds like your window operator may be stripped. You'll need the 39-147 Andersen Window Crank to replace the one you have here. The opposite versions is the 39-146. While I'm confident this is the correct replacement, you'll need to be sure to carefully review and compare the dimensions.
