I have a double casement pella window that is 23 years old. They will not open. I took them apart and see the operators are broken and the hinge sliders are bent. In replacing the operator it looks like I need to remove a trim piece of wood to access the mounting screws, is this correct?
Thank you
Ron

Good morning, Ron.
Yes, you will have to remove the wood sill cover to get to the operator installation screws. Be careful not to crack the wood.
As for the hinge arms, take a look at the Pella 39-351 and 39-352 Hinge Arm Assemblies. They may match up to yours.
