Wood Sash Lock P/C 90-320

I found you have #90-281 that is very close to my size in my Hurd window. The difference is that mine is not fastened from the top. Instead, it is fastened from the side (like #90-320). I assume that #90-281 will work - or do you know why it would not?

I found a discussion under #90-320 referencing a Hurd double hung window that has the exact same latch. I added to that discussion with a question about whether I need to also buy a new keeper. My old keeper (exact as in that photo) is in tact
