Wood folding closet door installation

Question

I want to install wood folding doors on my closet opening of 48". The 23-505 kit looks like what I need, but does this work if the floor below the folding doors is carpeting? How would I attach the bottom pivots and bottom jam brackets?

Thank you for posting. If there is no bottom track currently, then I recommend using a small block of wood to help raise the bottom brackets and make them stable.
