Wood loft windows

Quick Learner from Santa Barbara CA

I want to install crank window hardware on my solid wood windows that hinge from the top (36"W x 18"H). They are in a loft office area. Now I open them by hand and hold them open with paint sticks. In the same 1977 house, there are many side hinged windows that use a crank opener. The sliding channel is screwed on the inside of the wood window. Is it possible to use such a crank opener with the window hinges at the top? I would also need the channell piece.

Your 1/4" operator looks just like the ones that work on all the windows in our house.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Here is a photo of existing hardware I want to use on the loft windows with hinges on the top of the window.

Hello,

We don't carry an exact match to the operator shown in your photos. However, take a look at the 39-077 brass window adjuster and the 39-268 old-style wood casement operator. One of these could work for your window. Take a look at the specifications below and the related videos. Thanks for posting.
