Wood sash balance clip

Quick Learner from USA
I have wood sash windows. The house was built in 1988.
The clip in the spring channel broke.
Photo 1 is my part to repair it. But I had to shorten the top section for the spring to connect. That weakened it and it broke.
Do you have the required part? It fits into the channel -photo 2
Thank you.

I made the green replacement but it broke. I am looking for the clips that attach to the spring. They slide into the track in photo 2

Being so old, the parts you are looking for have changed many times in the window industry, and they won't work in your jamb liner anymore. Your best and most simple solution is to remove both sashes and one jamb liner, then take them to your nearest mill work. They will set you up with a new jamb liners and parts.
