I have certainteed vinyl windows and the weather stripping has the plastic strip (fin seal) in the center of the pile. Flattened out the pile measures about 1/2 in and the strip opening that the weather strip slides into is about 1/4 in (maybe a little less.)
Can you tell me what to order??
Thanks
Jim

Hey, Jim. I'm afraid we don't have any wool pile that matches those dimensions. Can you confirm? Most wool pile sizes are pretty precise, usually in the 1/32" range. I would double check your measurements to be sure. In the meantime, you can see our complete selection here. |
Hi Tom:
The pile and "fly" are 1/2" and the base plastic piece
is 3/16". Does that help? If so, what should I order?

Many Certainteed windows I've worked on use the 58-127 wool pile weather strip, which has the center nylon fin. However it's 3/16" wide and only 1/4" tall. |
