Wool pile replacement

A quick learner from IL says:

I have certainteed vinyl windows and the weather stripping has the plastic strip (fin seal) in the center of the pile. Flattened out the pile measures about 1/2 in and the strip opening that the weather strip slides into is about 1/4 in (maybe a little less.)

Can you tell me what to order??

Thanks

Jim

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Hey, Jim. I'm afraid we don't have any wool pile that matches those dimensions. Can you confirm? Most wool pile sizes are pretty precise, usually in the 1/32" range. I would double check your measurements to be sure.

In the meantime, you can see our complete selection here.

Hi Tom:

The pile and "fly" are 1/2" and the base plastic piece

is 3/16". Does that help? If so, what should I order?

I mean "fin seal."

Many Certainteed windows I've worked on use the 58-127 wool pile weather strip, which has the center nylon fin. However it's 3/16" wide and only 1/4" tall.
