Wool pile replacement, no slot access.

A quick learner from NH says:
Just recently I moved into an old home with old vinyl tilt in windows which has lead me to researching about the weatherstripping my window has and most info has lead me here.

I need 3/16 and 3/16 ,but my issue is the installation video you folks at SWISCO have posted is insightful and covers what I believe are a newer style of tilting window with the latch being able to be removed. Mine can't be without either breaking the latch, or removal of the frame.

I have removed my sash, and it seems he only way I'll be able to gain access to the slot channels are to remove framing of the glass panes themselves. Do you guys know of any other methods of an install other than just jamming it in with a screwdriver?

Hey there! Not having seen your sash, I think you might have to cut the end of the sash groove to open the groove in order to slide the wool pile in and out. Be very cautious. You only need a very small cut. You may want to get the help of a local professional.
