Wool pile without center fin

Question

My current wool pile weatherstrip does not have the center nylon fin. The replacement you sell for the size I need (3/16 x 1/4 )only comes with the fin seal. Will that be just fine to order?

If your old seal lacked a fin, then adding a fin could cause extra friction to the operation of the window. There's a chance you may not tell the difference, but in a worst case scenario then your window will be a little harder to open and close due to that fin.
