Would like a handle which locks from both inside and outside.

Handle is on a PGT Industries patio door 24B-012-010. Other numbers on tag are "12060 BPW HH7/16CL L7 shipped on 09/09/15. Can I get a handle with a key plug and housing? Or another to lock the door from the outside?

I'm not sure what this handle might be. Before I recommend anything, can you tell me the exact distance between the two installation screws, center-to-center? Can you also show me a clear picture of the mortise lock?

Thanks for getting back to me. Distance between the two installation screws on the handle is 3 15/16". Total length of the lock is 11 3/4". Anything else?

No, that should do it. I think our 82-030 is your best bet. It's not exactly the same as your old handle, but it should fit on the door and work with your old mortise the same way.

I took a look at the 82-030, it does not appear to have an access for a key on the outside. I was looking for a handle or accessory where I could lock the door from the outside to secure the home while I was out, as well as being able to flip the leaver on the inside to secure the door from the inside. Is there a key plug/tumbler that can be purchased with this?

Oh, sure thing. The 82-030 is compatible with the 82-310 key lock. These should work great together.
