Spoke with customer care . Took picture of handle to inside storm door. The handle is made by Wright. The handle will not hold unless the lock is on. Checked Home Depot/Lowes and their Wright products have a different catch .
I found this one on your website. Product code 40-117. Inside latch 1-13/4 inches. I think this is the identical one in black.
