adjust bi fold doors so they can rise up a little

I am trying to idenitfy which part to order, maybe a spring??...can u tell which spring to order, or how do I adjust the spring so the door would come up a little, it is rubbing at the bottom

I'm not sure what replacements you need but I know someone who might. We'll do some research but it would also help to know the manufacturer of your door. Thank you!

Hi there,

The top spring pivot looks good in the first photo. The threaded pin in the second photo shows it has a broken tip where you would place the screw driver to turn it in order to raise the doors. What you can do is loosen the metal nut that is holding the pin tight and preventing it from moving. Then, with pliers, turn the thread pin clockwise to raise and align the door to square up. Next, tighten the metal nut. If you want to replace the threaded pin, we will need the diameter of the pin that goes into the pivot bracket.
