aluminum hung window

Question

Hi - the window slides down and I can't keep it open.  I am not sure looking at it, what hardware is failing to keep the window from not sliding down. thanks.

If the window is sliding down when you open it, that indicates that the support balances on the sides of the window need to be replaced.
