A home owner from Key West, Fl. says:

My balancers have the number 34 2 Caldwell. The metal portion of the balancer is 35 inches long. Would the sash weight be 3420? Just a guess. Help!!

Hello, Typically yes, a 34 2 stamp will translate to 3420. To check, remove the window sash and place it on a scale. A pair of balances with stamp of 3420 will carry a window sash weight of 13 through and including 18 lbs.
