size: 9/16 x 9/16.
Current glazing is brittle and falling off. Need comparable replacement.

The concern I had was that the original piece also had a small "hook" on one end. Do you see this as an issue?

Hello again! Our 55-029 has a small hook corner that should snap into the sash like the original. If you wanted to, you could order a sample of it here to try it out before you commit to a purchase.
