I need to replace my balance the length is 27 7/8. a double spring.the window weights 36 lbs. markings are 27, 14L ok, bsi. thanks for the help.

Thanks for posting, Phil. Your balance looks like our S390-28, which has a 19-002 top and 15-001 bottom nylon fitting, but your stamp is very peculiar. A 27 14L stamp is usually meant for sashes much heavier than what you have.

If you are positive that your sash is 36 pounds, though, then I recommend our 2770 option. It's possible that whoever installed these used the wrong spring calibration for the job.

thanks for the help. balance are ordered. the window is one step down from hurricane window. that's why it so heavy.
