american craftsman windows by anderson

Hello, The composite black part has broken as well as a metal part (could not remove without removing window) it is attached to the hinge/crank hardware for our American craftsman window. I am pretty sure it is a series 7550 casement. The window opens right to left and the crank is in the left corner where the little black piece slides on a slip of metal. the black piece is the bottom, then the metal piece that is above and attached to the black piece is the other that is broken as it has rusted and bent. these 2 pieces are attached to the longer arm of the crank that is attached to the window. The metal piece that is broken is sandwiched between the black piece and to the underside of longer arm and is half the length of the longer arm (see photo with 2 arrows. these photos are of one of our other windows that is working but as you can see from the 4th and 5th photo...are also starting to rust. I would like to get parts for 4 windows. Please and thank you. Lisa

Hello,

Unforutnately, the black slide circled in your photos is not available separately but your hinges resemble the 36-048 set. These should work as long as the base that attaches to your window sill measures 10" long. Take a look at the video below showing how these parts are installed. Note that both top and bottom hinges would need to be replaced at the same time. Thanks for posting!
