anderson sash balance

Question

My sash balance is marked 11600-2, I don't see a replacement part. These windows were made in 1981. The top sash is 20in., bottom sash is 19in. The cord is approx. 25in. Can you please help?

I found another number - "J70 5423 9-81"

The sash is about 27 7/8in. wide. The previous measurements of 20in. and 19in. were up and down.

Thank you for posting. It's hard to say. I think the key number here is the "5423," but can you confirm that that's what it reads? Could that "4" be a different size than the other three numbers? I think it might be. If so, consider our 24-531. This can replace balance boxes with the stamp 5 23.
