arm hinge for circa 1994 Crestline awning window

Quick Learner from Schenectady, NY

Hi,

The arm hinges on my Crestline windows are starting to shear off, and I need to find replacements. They are circa 1994. The existing arm hinges are printed Truth 40018 and 40017 (left and right sides). They are approximately 12 inches long when measured along the longest piece (the one that is fully mounted to the inner wall.) I have about 16 of these casement windows, so I ma looking for several sets.

Thanks,

Kathy

Hello,

We don't carry any hinges with a 12" base but take a look at our 36-049 hinge set with a 14" base. Thank you!

Thanks! Double-checking... do these work on awning windows?

Yes, these hinges can be used on an awning or casement window.

Follow-up:
The 36-049 hinge set with a 14" base works as a replacement to our 12" Crestline Truth awning windows! They did not line up exactly with the 12" set, so we did have to drill a few new holes.
Specifically, the 14" long, 4-hole piece had top and bottom holes match (so just had to redrill the middle two into the side walls); the shorter 4-hole piece had the second hole line up, so that screw stabilized and positioned the bar perfectly so that the other three screws could be drilled into new positions.

I'm about to order more, thanks very much for your recommendation!
Regards,
Kathy
